My wife said her step-nephew was confusing things

My wife, not telling me everything exactly what was happening inside the house while I was away working, just told me that her step-nephew was confusing things well with the way she treated him daily... But she didn't tell me why he was confusing things and she didn't tell me that she was loving all this confusion and that she did everything with great pleasure.
